Slovenian media: Sesco reached an agreement with Arsenal is fake news

Football

According to Slovenian media ekipa, previous reports about Sesco reaching an agreement with Arsenal were fake news.

The media said that when they reported on Thursday morning about the news that Arsenal was unwilling to pay 80 million to 100 million euros for Sesco, news began to circulate on social media X that Sesco had reached an agreement with Arsenal on the transfer.

The media also pointed out that a large number of posts on X quoted the German media Biography, which read: "Big News: Arsenal has reached a personal agreement with 22-year-old striker Sesco on the transfer, and will negotiate with Leipzig on the transfer fee, with the amount expected to be between 80 million and 100 million euros."

The news spread rapidly and also appeared in the Slovenian media, but the whole thing is still too early. Ekipa said that according to their knowledge from reliable sources around Biography and Sesco, the news was "fake", or in Slovenian: it was fake.

The media also pointed out that just by looking at the official website of the above-mentioned media, you can clearly realize that everything is suspicious: because according to common sense, such a big news should have occupied the headlines, but the relevant pages have no trace.
