Mid-body: Jurmand is willing to join Juventus, Portuguese demand is too high & Juventus needs to clean D-Luis
According to the "Milan Sports Daily", Jurmande is willing to return to Serie A and join Juventus, but Juventus still has two difficulties to overcome.
Juventus hopes to introduce Danish midfielder Jurmande this summer. The player has played in Lecce in the past and previously played for Portuguese Sports. Jurmand is currently very happy to join Juventus. He can not only return to the familiar Serie A arena, but also get a high-paying contract offered by Juventus and sign the contract until 2030. It can be said that in terms of players, there is no obstacle to this transfer.
However, there are still two major problems with Juventus introducing Jurmand. First of all, the price of Portugal Sports for Jurmande reached 60 million euros, which Juventus believes is too high. Since Portugal Sports sold Yorker at a high price this summer, the club is in good financial condition at present and no longer need to take the initiative to sell people. Only when you receive a satisfactory offer will you consider the transaction. However, Jurmand is determined to leave the team, and the players' entourage believe that they can persuade Portugal sports to compromise and reduce the asking price to 40 million euros fixed transfer fee, plus floating bonuses related to Jurmand's future performance.
Secondly, Juventus also needs to sell Douglas Louis to make room and salary space for Jurmand. Juventus spent 50 million euros to sign Douglas Luis last summer, but the Brazilian midfielder was not accommodating in Serie A and scored 0 goals and assists throughout the season. Douglas Louis was late after Juventus' summer training began and was punished. And in Juventus' first warm-up match this summer, Douglas Louis was not on the roster either. Currently, Premier League teams such as Nottingham Forest, Everton, and West Ham United are all interested in Douglas Louis, but it will be difficult for Juventus to sign Jurmand before he leaves the team.
The Milan Sports also stated that Juventus also tried to add one of Douglas Luis or Artur to Jurmand's transfer negotiations to offset part of the transfer fee, but Portugal Sports is not interested in this.
Juventus, on the one hand, expects Portugal Sports to reduce prices in the future, and on the other hand, it has also made alternative plans. Other midfield signing targets currently considered by Juventus include Brighton's O'Reilly, Tottenham's Bisuma, Fenerbahce's Amrabat, and an unlikely dream - Newcastle's Tonali.
