Juventus and City Football Group have made contact with the Houston Dynamo regarding U.S. youth international midfielder Brooklyn Reigns, sources told The Athletic.

Currently, Houston Dynamo has not received a formal offer, but the parties have started conversations. The source added that there are also clubs within Major League Baseball that are interested in him. If Reigns transfers within MLS, it can be completed through a cash transaction, and his contract will expire at the end of the 2026 season.

The 20-year-old Reigns has represented the Houston Dynamo in 27 appearances in various competitions this year, setting a career high. He has now completed a total of 61 first-team appearances.

This technical deep-lying midfielder is highly compatible with Houston's possession-based game mode. In the recent U20 World Cup held in Chile, Reigns was a key starter for the US team. The U.S. team eventually reached the quarterfinals, losing to reigning champion Morocco.

City Football Group owns a number of European clubs, led by Manchester City. It also controls Girona, Palermo, Troyes, Lommel and MLS's New York City FC.

As one of the most legendary clubs in Italy, Juventus also has a reserve team participating in the Italian third-tier league.
