Any advice for literary classes? O Neal: Control the rhythm. It s time to rest and enter the playoffs healthy.

Today O'Neal talked about Bunyama on the podcast "The Rich Eisen Show".

When asked about advice to Vunbanyama, O'Neal said: "I would tell him to control his rhythm. Phil Jackson, I don't know how he did it, but during our three consecutive championships, he would sometimes come to me and say, 'Hey, these two games Stop playing, I need you to rest, don’t party, don’t do rap videos, don’t do commercials, just rest, but when you come back, I need you to average 40 points a game.’ So, you know, Phil did a great job managing that for me, and he was great at it. We always had a headache against Utah in the early days, but then you notice we don't seem to play Utah that much. He prefers to play Sacramento and San Antonio."

"So, if Wenban has a little injury, you know, he needs to rest. It doesn't matter if the team loses one or two games in a week or two, as long as it can get some home court advantage, that's fine. You have to work hard to get a record of 72 wins and 9 losses, and then it's useless to enter the playoffs with injuries. You have to stay as healthy as possible when you enter the playoffs."
