European media: Greek giant Olympiacos men s basketball team interested in NBA free agent Bamba
According to European media Sportando, Greek giant Olympiacos men's basketball team is interested in NBA free agent Bamba.
According to the well-known Greek website Gazzetta.gr, the delegation of the Olympiacos club has visited the United States to inspect the NBA Summer League and plans to meet with the player's agent to discuss the possibility of signing the contract. The management of the Red and White Army believes that the No. 6 pick in 2018 will be an ideal complement to the existing frontcourt (Nicolas Milutinov, Kostas Antetokounmpo).
Bamba played 32 games for the Clippers and the Pelicans last season, averaging 12.9 minutes per game, scoring 4.3 points and 4.5 rebounds, shooting percentage of 46.4% and free throw percentage of 70.4%. Bamba was sent to the Jazz by the Clippers this season, and was later sacked and signed a ten-day contract with the Pelicans.
