Today, Clippers coach Tyron Lu was interviewed by the media after the team's training.
Lu said in the interview that the team hopes to reduce Harden's usage rate and game load in the new season, including reducing the number of appearances, shortening the playing time, reducing the frequency of ball holding and reducing the number of shots/scoring tasks.
Lu said: "He was exhausted in the last few weeks of last season, and it was our fault."
Last season, Harden played 79 games, averaging 35.3 minutes per game, and averaged 22.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, 8.7 assists and 1.5 steals per game. The shooting percentages of the three events were 41%/35.2%/87.4% respectively
