British media: Bentancur will renew his contract with Tottenham within this month, Tottenham is interested in buying out Palinia

According to GMS, Tottenham Hotspur is close to reaching a contract renewal agreement with midfielder Bentancur. The 28-year-old Uruguay international is currently facing a contract expiration next summer and both parties are expected to renew within this month. Bentancourt has proven his importance under new head coach Thomas Frank, starting eight of his 10 games in Frank’s coaching.

It is understood that Bentankur's current weekly salary is 75,000 pounds (excluding bonuses).
