Devry: We created opportunities in the second half but couldn t score, we were disappointed

After losing to Fruminense 0-2 in the 1/8 final of the Club World Cup, Inter defender De Vry was interviewed by Mediaset.

He said: "We should have been in the game better. They were more determined at the beginning and more aggressive in the confrontation. They blocked the space well, and after they took the lead, the game became more difficult. We should have accelerated the pace, but we failed. We performed better in the second half and created opportunities, but the ball just couldn't get into the net. We should have done more."

What does this Club World Cup mean to you?

"It must be an important experience, an opportunity for players and coaching staff to get to know each other, and we spent three weeks together. But now it is really disappointing."

How should we start again?

"Let everything be the past. We will come back with great motivation, strive to do better, work hard and make progress together."
