What is the current atmosphere in the Juventus locker room?

After two consecutive league wins, the atmosphere in the locker room is much better. But we also know we can’t take things lightly or we might end up back where we started. We have to keep going on this path and keep performing like this because we've got the points.

What changes have occurred in the last two games?

When a coach is fired, the first person to take responsibility is the players. This brings us together and we talk to each other about areas that need improvement. In the games against Udinese and Cremonese we tried to be more aggressive and take on more responsibility. We feel responsible for the current situation.

Kupmenas switched to central defender in the last game. What do you think of his performance?

I have known him for a year and four months and he is a very strong and serious player. When you're good enough, you can play any position and he proved that in the game.

How do you evaluate your performance this season?

I always tell myself that I can always make progress. I have to work hard to improve every day and I hope to do better and help the team.

What are your team goals?

When you play for Juve, the goals are clear, this is a club that keeps winning. We want to win some trophies but it needs to be done game by game.

Do you still believe you can compete for the Serie A championship?

The coach is as ambitious as we are. Here you have to strive for victory and cannot be satisfied with the status quo. We have to go all out to win, that's the goal we all have.

What impresses you most about Juventus’ new coach Luciano Spalletti?

He has only been in office for a short time, and what we can do currently is limited, but his past coaching career has spoken for itself. What impresses us is his determination and enthusiasm and we are eager to take on the challenge. We are heading in the right direction and hope we can continue to perform as well as we did in the first two games.

Both coach and owner Elkann have talked about responsibility before. What do you think of this?

After losing to Lazio, responsibility is the most critical word, and each of us must feel responsible for the club. To stay at Juve, we have to maintain a high level. Responsibility is the right word.

What do you think of the Champions League matches?

The Champions League is exciting, Juventus must win and must move on. This is the motivation, and we must continue on this path in this moment. Tomorrow night we must be full of motivation, ambition and responsibility.

How will you prepare for this game?

Regardless of the results of previous Champions League games, this game must be won. I wouldn't use the word "anxious" to describe preparations. If we want to win our first Champions League win this season, we need stronger determination and motivation.
