The final whistle
After a full year of training alone and looking for new opportunities, after much consideration, it was time to make the decision to turn the page on my career as a professional footballer.
I was fortunate enough to pursue my passion as a career for 15 years, win championships, and play alongside many extraordinary players.
This was a difficult decision because football has given me so much: emotions, friendships, life lessons and memories that will last forever.
To my wife, thank you for the love you have given me, thank you for being with me on this journey, thank you for your patience, and thank you for supporting me in good times and bad.
To my family and my forever friends, thank you for always being by my side, following me no matter how far apart, and always being the same.
To all the presidents, management, managers, goalkeeper coaches, staff, doctors, physiotherapists, support staff, employees and of course all the players: thank you for your trust, your requests, your advice and your companionship, which made these wonderful years and the person I am today.
To all the clubs I have played for, thank you for giving me the opportunity to wear your jersey and defend your colours. Life has given me the privilege to start my career in the academy and proudly end it at my beloved club, Paris Saint-Germain.
To the fans of each club, thank you for your support and the energy you convey to me.
Thank you, Jimmy, for accompanying me over the past year, training hard in a pleasant atmosphere, and hoping to find new opportunities.
This is not a farewell to football...just the end of an important chapter. This love will always be a part of me in some way.
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
