Italian Football Association Chairman talks about Italy s ranking decline: We must work hard, the only goal is to enter the World Cup

Italian Football Association Chairman Gravina recently accepted an interview with the media and talked about the decline in the Italian national team ranking.

After nearly five years, Italy fell out of the top ten of FIFA national teams again. The latest ranking shows that Italy ranks 11th in the world, down two places from 9th on April 3. This ranking change stems from the first two rounds of the World Cup qualifiers group stage held in June (losing 0-3 to Norway, 2-0 against Moldova).

Croatia (now 10th) and Germany (now 9th) have surpassed Italy, and Italian Football Association President Gravina responded calmly to the decline in rankings: "We must roll up our sleeves and work hard. Now there is only one crucial goal, and all our energy is focused on it. We must unite and win the follow-up game and enter the World Cup without any suspense."

In the rest of the rankings, Argentina is still at the top, with Spain and France following closely behind, with Italy being Morocco, which remains 12th, and Mexico, which soars four places.
