Join Milan for 42 million! Nkunku: I am willing to give everything to fight for the team and fight for victory

AC Milan signs Chelsea striker Nkunku. The two sides sign the contract until 2030, with a total price of 42 million euros. The players will wear the No. 18 jersey. Nkunku was interviewed by the media and talked about his feelings about joining Milan.

What is your first reaction when you learn that you are coming to Milan?

I am very happy. I'm very excited to be here. I have been convinced of this journey from the beginning and I am very happy to be here.

Fans may not know much about you: What is your game style? What are the characteristics?

My game style is very technical, and I like to cooperate with my teammates to play a tandem role. I play in an offensive position and try to give assists or score goals to the team. I always think from a team perspective, I like to fight for the team and give everything I have so that we can play to the best of our level as a whole.

Where is your favorite position on the field?

I like to play near the forward, or be a forward directly. I like to have the freedom to attack. Moving through space, having conversations with my forward partner, is what I do best.

What do you think about coming to Milan?

I am very proud. I'm very proud. I have gained important experience in England and Germany in the past. I'm ready to discover a new country, a new league, and I can't wait to start this new season.

This is great. We understand the club’s ambitions. We have to fight for victory, which is why great players come here to play football. I have played against Luca (Jovic) as an opponent, but haven't played with Rafa (Leo). I'm so glad to be in the fight with them. I hope to get along well with them on the court for the benefit of the team.

What are your personal goals this season?

I have no personal goal because I don't want to set limits for myself. I always try to improve myself day after day. This is my mentality, and we will see how the results will be at the end of the season.

Have you imagined playing football in San Siro?

Of course, I have imagined it. I played there before when I played against Italy for France. I immediately discovered that it was a very beautiful court, very grand. I'm so glad to call it my home.
