"Daily Sports" reported that the Argentine national team held a training camp in Alicante, which triggered a crazy pursuit by local fans. More than a hundred people gathered outside the resort where the team stayed.

The fans were extremely enthusiastic. Some brought their own lunch boxes to save time and just to watch Messi for a second, and some even tried to sneak into the venue while security was entering. But security was so tight that fans couldn't see the players at all and could only see them coming in and out on buses.

Messi was one of the first players to arrive, but he arrived so early that when the training location was officially announced, he had already entered the resort. When the team went to training, a convoy of two National Guard police cars and two buses were responsible for transferring players, and hundreds of fans could only watch from the side of the road as idols, including Messi, sat in the cars and drove by.

A fan named Juan said that he came specially from Valencia in the hope of sending mate tea to Messi and Thiago Almada. Two other fans, Herro and Sebastian, said: "We can't tell the players apart, but even watching them from a distance is the best experience. We watched the national team play in Elche a few years ago, but Messi was not there at the time, and today he is here."
