Today, Lakers defender Doncic accepted an exclusive interview with Complex.
Outlook for a full season with the Lakers, Doncic said: "I can't wait to start, we formed a team, and everyone can train together throughout the preseason. So I'm looking forward to the start of the new season."
When asked how he was ready to become the new facade of the team after James retired, Doncic said: "To be honest, there is no special preparation. Like I said, do my best to be the best I can, and at the end of the day, I'm playing basketball. I want to win, that's all. From the beginning to the end of the day, that's what we are aiming for."
