According to NBC reporter Kurt Helin, Reeves expects an annual salary of about $30 million.
It is reported that Reeves is nearly impossible to execute the $14.9 million player option in the final year of his contract, and even if he intends to stay with the Lakers, he will jump out of the contract and become a full free agent. Reeves will seek a contract equivalent to Herro ($130 million in four years, including a bonus of 10 million), with an annual salary of about $30 million.
Reeves played 73 regular season games for the Lakers in 2024-25, averaging 34.9 minutes per game, scoring 20.2 points, 4.5 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 1.1 steals, shooting percentage of 46.0%, three-point shooting percentage of 37.7%, and free throw shooting percentage of 87.7%.
