Lillard talks about the surge in Achilles tendon injuries: the pace becomes too fast, and frequent disguised & emergency stops at this intensity

Basketball

Recently, Lillard was interviewed by Andy Katz and talked about his recovery from the Achilles tendon injury.

He said: "I will not return as an empty shell. I plan to get back to myself."

Speaking of the surge in Achilles tendon injuries in the league, Lillard said: "To be honest, I think it may be related to the pace of the game. The pace of the game becomes very fast, and you have to face athletes with extremely high levels. Everyone knows how frequently players train, and how many games we have to play and how many journeys we have to do. All these factors, coupled with the frequent changes and emergency stops we need to play in the game. It is a huge burden on the body to do these movements with our competitive intensity."
