Kompany talks about the Champions League draw: it takes time to digest, two Premier League teams + Paris are all favorites to win the championship

At the press conference before the match against Augsburg, Bayern coach Kompany was asked about the situation of the Champions League draw. He said the team's goal is to enter the top eight.

Kompani said: "I need a little time to digest, we will play against two Premier League clubs (Chelsea and Arsenal) and Paris Saint-Germain - they are both favorites to win the championship. To me, two games with the Belgian team certainly have special meaning. It is not easy to understand the opponent in a comprehensive way, because we have not played against all teams."

"We know that winning six games means getting into the top eight, and winning four games means playing. Playoffs. Of course, our goal is to get into the top eight, but the most important thing is to keep going. It won’t be easy, but we certainly dream of getting to the finals.”

Bayern Sports Director Froinde added: “It’s obvious that we will have strong opponents. We have to face the defending champions and the Club World Cup. The format is very interesting and there are many wonderful matches. It’s a challenge for us and we’re looking forward to it, which will be very exciting and engaging.”
