Tudor: Juventus always make mistakes in the backcourt, someone has to score the ball in the last few meters

In the 8th round of Serie A this morning, Juventus lost 0-1 away to Lazio. After the game, Juventus coach Tudor accepted an interview with DAZN.

What is your evaluation of this game?

The team played well at the beginning, except for David's mistake. We are currently in a difficult period and we must unite and work together. Everyone is disappointed with the result, we are always missing something, always someone makes a mistake in the backcourt and loses the game. But we must stick together.

Juventus has not scored in four consecutive games. What is your explanation for this?

We tried hard and created some chances, but we are definitely missing something.

Who should be responsible for this?

Everyone has a responsibility, always. We will try to play better and there is a new game in two days and we can start again with a win. We have shortcomings in all aspects, but we cannot exaggerate them.

Is your leadership position still secure?

Everyone asks me these questions, but I’m not thinking about myself right now. What I care about is not my future but trying to stay sane in the face of all the problems.

Why do Juventus midfielders rarely step in?

Yildiz needs a rest, and David and Vlahovich both have the ability to score goals. I think it was the right choice, but it lacked goals. Someone has to put the ball in the back of the net in the last few meters because small mistakes at the back will be punished.

Why did you replace Andrea Cambiaso after halftime?

I saw Cambiaso was having difficulty dealing with Isaksson and I didn't like the way he read the game, so I made the substitution.
