Hradetsky: We are at different stages of the season, and our opponents are in better shape but that s not an excuse
After losing 1-5 in a friendly against Flamengo U20, Leverkusen goalkeeper Hradetsky said in an interview that his opponent deserves the victory.
Hradetsky said: "My understanding of them is that they are like us, a mixed team of professional players. But it is undoubtedly a good lesson for young players to compete at such a high level. It's not surprising that there are so many talents here, and there are always players who can travel to Europe. They impressed me and they deserve to win."
"It's very important to play at such a high level, of course, we are at different stages of the season, and our opponents are in better form, and you can notice that, but it's not an excuse. I think we've learned a lot today, so football has never been easy, especially when you're too cautious on the court."
