Spanish media: Barcelona will wear a special jersey at the national derby with Ed Sheeran s name printed on the chest

According to Rac1 radio program "Tu Diràs", Barcelona will wear a jersey with the name Ed Sheeran in the next national derby.

At 4:15 pm local time on October 26, Barcelona will challenge Real Madrid away, and Barcelona will wear a jersey with the name of British singer Ed Sheeran. Ed Sheeran will also become the seventh artist to appear on Barcelona jerseys after Travis Scott.

Since the 2022-23 season, Barcelona has signed a sponsorship agreement with Spotify, which allows Spotify to replace its logo with the names of specific artists as a marketing strategy during the La Liga national derby.

Previously, six artists have received this honor: Drake, Rosalia, Rolling Stones, Carol G, Cool Play and Travis Scott. Whenever Barcelona wears these special edition jerseys, the record is mixed.
